We are seeking a Merchandiser / Junior Buyer to oversee and manage new product introductions into our company’s ever-growing portfolio. In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing, sales and buying team and driving our merchandising strategy forward. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with management team to implement exciting category initiatives
- Dive deep into sales trends and assist in developing strategies for growth
- Manage the lifecycle of product categories, from markdowns to reorders
- Assist in assortment planning, purchase order execution, and vendor communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities
- Act as a brand ambassador, communicating category initiatives to stakeholders
- Embrace hands-on opportunities, including attending trade shows and supporting in-store merchandising and sales efforts
- Use analytics tools to assess and modify product launches
Contribute to overall weekly product reporting
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- Collaborative perspective with a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead projects end to end
- Experience with inventory analytical tools
- Experience with MRP/ERP software
- Strong analytical and market research skills
Preferred Experience
- 1-3 years experience in merchandising of agricultural products
