This is a temporary/seasonal position working through Mid October 2022.

This position is responsible for the shipping and receiving functions for a retail gifts warehouse. Works with retail team to ensure stores are stocked with merchandise. The position will work out of Chester, CA 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% accurate and timely receiving of all retail merchandise

• Correctly receive merchandise into the Retail Pro system (ensure accurate costs and retails)

• Correctly label all incoming merchandise and process all invoices for payment
• Manage and maintain the warehouse, ensuring it is neat and organized, and easily accessible to other staff

• Replenish store displays per existing layout, according to company standards

• Actively foster a positive work environment with a focus on teamwork

Requirements:

• Must be able to reliably commute to the location or be willing to relocate before starting the job.
• MUST have experience with shipping and receiving a high volume of merchandise
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and handle tasks involving frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting
• Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts

• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Majority of shift will be spent on feet
• Must respond well to a changing work environment

Knowledge and Experience

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience: Six months warehouse experience preferred

1 year of shipping and receiving clerk experience preferred.
