Workday System Design Architect has primary responsibility to drive the design and implementation of Workday solutions, with a major focus on organizational transformation. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Supply Chain, IT and executive stakeholders, to identify business requirements and develop innovative system designs that align with our strategic objectives. You will translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Workday system designs. Your expertise in Workday architecture and your ability to lead complex transformation initiatives will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our ERP implementation and future ERP operations. Be the overarching leader responsible for understanding the business process transformation needed during the implementation including timing, technical impacts, people impacts, and covering payroll, HCM, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Research Administration.
Liaison between business and IT, and acting as Internal Consultant when discussing solutions with a close eye on business need, IT Security standards, protecting data and technology trends. Make recommendations on leveraging existing software already owned by Seattle Childrens, as well as seeking cost-efficicent solutions.
Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
– BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required
– 12+ years technology architecture work experience. Architecture implementation a plus
– 10+ years experience in business analysis and/or software development
– 5 years experience in Enterprise, Business and Application architecture
– Knowledge of enterprise architecture modeling methodologies and tools
– Knowledge of business and process modeling methodologies and tools
– Knowledge of cyber security and risk management methodologies and frameworks
– Knowledge of project management practices, including project planning and risk/issue analysis/management
– Familiarity with Health Care industry application & technology portfolio
– Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
– Strong application architecture and roadmapping knowledge

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
