SBH Fashion Looking for JUNIOR JEWELRY DESIGNER at New York, New York Full Time

Growing Jewelry company in midtown Manhattan looking for Junior Designer to assist the Design Team.  Will initiate and develop concepts needed for accounts.  Good culture and 401k with match.

• Reporting to VP of Merchandising
• Assist team in conducting seasonal trend research
• Assist team in tasks needed to design jewelry categories specified
• Maintain sample and component library
• Field research and sample purchases
• Responsible for supporting preparation and organization of Design Presentation.
• General Office support

Qualifications:

• BFA and 2 year industry experience

• Fluent in English

• Must be able to sketch concepts by hand, be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Power Point

• Awareness of competitive market

• Must poses strong fashion sense and have ability to interpret trends

• Passion for jewelry

• Flexible with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in fast-paced

environment

• Organized, detail oriented and thorough

• Creative problem solver

• High energy/Strong Work Ethic

• Focus on team / relationship building
