Department Details

This position is full time 72-80 hours a pay period. Most staff schedules consist of rotating 8 or 12 hour shifts with weekend requirements. On call hours may be scheduled. All of our new hires will start out every other weekend and then move to every third at 1 year of service.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to prevent, detect, monitor and manage disease and complications.

• Measures the patient’s lung capacity to determine if there are any impairments.

• Collect and/or analyzes patients’ blood and other specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to directly impact cardiopulmonary health.

• Offers diagnosis results and treatment suggestions based on the analysis of the patient.

• Provide education to promote preventative care, self-management, enhanced cardiopulmonary health and quality of life.
