Temporary Grant-Funded PT Educational Planner (Virtual) – North Campus

Major Responsibilities:

• Provides educational planning / academic advising, registration assistance, and assistance in accessing and navigating institutional requirements to current students.
• Provides career advising to assist students in choosing a career pathway.
• Works with specific at-risk populations to create pathways for success.
• Plans, implements, and conducts retention and completion activities.
• Assists with graduation application process and commencement activities.
• Works with the Director of Educational Planning, Counseling and Completion to plan, implement and evaluate the programs and services provided by Educational Planning, Counseling, and Completion.

Additional Job Functions:

• Works cooperatively with counterparts on the other campuses to achieve the College’s annual goals and objectives.
• Represents the College with outside educational institutions, internal departments, and professional organizations. Serves as a department liaison and on College committees as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate working functional knowledge and use of Banner and Microsoft Office
• Must possess outstanding communication, critical thinking, customer services, and organizational skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Demonstrate the desire to learn new software requirements to support office functions and efficiency
• Ability to adapt to learning new tasks and skills
• Must possess personal computer literacy and good organizational skills

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university

Preferred Experience:

• Experience/training in one or more of the following areas: education, teaching, academic advising, recruiting, sales, customer service, marketing, or public relations
• Community College experience
• Banner experience
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Salary Grade: STUDENTSERVICES

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
