What’s the job?

This position will assist the Plants Human Resources Manager with services of a highly responsible and confidential nature in administration and delivery of a full spectrum of human resource programs and activities for the hourly and salaried employees at the Worcester MA campus. Under limited supervision, performs complex administrative duties following established procedures in the following areas: hourly payroll, reporting, file and records maintenance, recreational activities, hiring and onboarding. Assist Plant Human Resources Managers with additional support during annual open enrollment etc. Involves frequent contact, and a working knowledge of the policies and procedures, local, state and federal employment laws. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Business Leader.

Responsibilities include but at not limited to:

• Assist the Plant Human Resources Manager on various projects and activities.
• Schedules interviews and assists with recruiting efforts around job fairs, etc.
• Creates requisitions and posts jobs on application portal.
• Assist with onboarding new hires.
• Assist and coordinates planning and organizing employee functions, such as: Employee Holiday events, Employee Appreciation events, Service Award Banquet, EHS Activities and Employee Family Day events, etc.
• Administers and maintains confidential employee records, status spreadsheets and status changes tracking new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, ADA accommodations, etc. for generation of various reports.
• Acts as the LiveWell liaison for the company’s wellness program.
• Provides assistance on general benefits and HR questions.
• Completes weekly Payroll function for all Worcester plants
• Completes Single Payroll Entries (SPOE) approved by respective HRBP
• Process Personnel Data changes/edits in HRIS system approved by respective HR Manager.

Requirements
What do you bring?

• Associates Degree in relevant field is preferred as well as 1+ years Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, as well as strong computer skills and have knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• PeopleSoft and Kronos knowledge is a plus.
