ResponsibilitiesProvide high quality patient care in conjunction with fellow team members during transport between facilities
Perform assessment and stabilization of patients as well as any necessary diagnostic and therapeuticinterventions* Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards;
making or recommending necessaryadjustments by collaborating with team members and multidisciplinary members* Participate in decision-making and partners with the multidisciplinary team to enhance operationalefficiency
Complete all appropriate medical documentation* May be required to drive an ambulance to transport patients and / or supplies
RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration : * BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted* Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within Month ( days) of hire date or job transfer date required American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition “Compact State” obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Certified Prehospital Trauma Life Spprt is preferredEducation : * Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing and years minimum ED or ICU experience required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire and years minimum ED or ICU experience required
