This role has responsibility for Logistics Operations within the region. The role leads regional locations of Logistics Operations to deliver excellence in customer service at the lowest cost. They are the owner of the interface with the Logistics Service Provider(s) (LSPs) and SCJ personnel to drive continuous improvement, cost reduction initiatives, meet aggressive budget expectations, and economize/right-size the material handling fleet. The role drives ongoing network distribution modeling efforts to ensure low operational costs and high service expectations are optimized. The role should be an expert in day to day warehouse operations, throughput capacity management, fixed/variable cost analysis and LSP contracts.
Key member of the Regional Logistics Leadership Team, ensuring our Logistics operations deliver business expectations in terms of customer service and cost.
Develop regional tactical and resource plans to deliver Logistics regional strategies.
Develop LSP partnerships and manage regional Logistics performance
Interface of the cluster business needs to the Logistics function.

Required Skills and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or greater – preferably in an engineering or a supply chain discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations and LSP management
Supply chain experience in other disciplines
Demonstrated people leadership and competency
Strong analytic skills; the ability to powerfully portray data and leverage to drive continuous improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across the organization
Project management skills
The ability to build business partnerships and external collaboration opportunities wherever possible
Significant experience with Lean practices. Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification preferred
