Your future plans
We are supporting our Risk business with all reporting requirements they have. To ensure proper reporting we are using the Microstrategy BI Suite as well as making use of Power BI for our Credit Risk reporting. Besides the risk reporting focus we also develop our own applications to support special requirements like PnL or Counterparty risk calculations, using a wide range of interesting technologies, like .Net core, Snowflake, AWS Cloud services, Python, SQL Server and more.
You establish, organise and moderate Scrum Rituals, most notably: Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospective
Support 2 Squads in the implementation of backlog items along the full SDLC, including quality assurance and testing and protect the Squads from outside interruptions and distractions
You enable the Squads to make realistic Sprint commitments and identify and resolve impediments and blockers
Being part of the Risk IT Leadership team you will actively drive improvements and innovations relevant for the whole team
Establish and tracks metrics & KPI
You will work with the Squads on continuous improvement of workflows and processes, i.e. Develop Squad rules such as Definition of Ready (DOR), Definition of Done (DOD)
Continuously work on team-building and maintaining a high level of motivation and an overall productive atmosphere within the Squads. This includes managing conflicts within the Squads and between the Squads and Squad-external Stakeholders
Your powerful skills
Agile methodologies: Knowledge and profound experience of implementing and managing Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban; basic knowledge of scaled Agile approaches, such as LeSS, SaFE or SAS
Foster Innovation: Knowledge and experience of techniques used to generate new ideas, create a working environment which promotes innovation and be able to reference from personal experience behaviours and environmental factors which hinder / support innovation
Drive Continuous Improvement: Good understanding of continuous improvement, demonstrable experience using continuous improvement tools such as self-reflection, development of KPIs and techniques to achieve non-functional requirements, e.g. robustness
Excellent Communication: Strong ability to tailor your communication to the audience including to different personal styles and utilising varying communication channels and experience of providing and receiving personal feedback
Good coaching skills: Ability to support and encourage each Squad member in improving their skills to better fulfil their role both individually and as part of a highly collaborative team
Very high level of empathy and excellent understanding of and sensitivity for social dynamics within teams of professionals
Advantageous, but not a must
Good experience in moderating groups and facilitating skills
High resilience and frustration tolerance
The ability to challenge team and stakeholders
