Robert Half is seeking a FP& A Supervisor for our well-respected and growing client! The FP& A Supervisor must have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. This role is perfect for an experienced FP& A Senior with supervisory responsibilites looking to grow and looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Major responsibilities
– Supervise financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts
– Supervise and oversee the operations of the financial planning team
– Analyze financials to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
– Create operational budgets and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle
– Prepare data mining tools and financial models for variance analysis
– Analyze financials to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
– Provide support for regulatory filings
– Execute financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions
– Test budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans
– Help with financial deliverables to the executive team
– Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes
– Manage all aspects of staff, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
– Address and improve strategic issues by working in cross-functional development teams

– Skilled in building relationships and communication
– 8+ years of experience in FP& A required in a multi-state or multi-national organization
– Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
– 2+ years of FP& A supervisory, leadership or mentoring experience
– Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
– Exceptional business acumen
– Superb qualitative and quantitative skills
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
– MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
– Proficient in analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
