Seeking motivated, outdoor-oriented, business interested individual with lots of enthusiasm and energy to work part-time with RightOnTrek for the spring-summer-fall as a Backpacking Gear Specialist. This individual would have the opportunity to work with an innovative and fast-paced leading outdoor industry company based near Glacier National Park in Northwest Montana.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining, inventorying, cleaning, repairing, delivering and purchasing premium backpacking, camping and day hiking rental gear. The candidate must have a driver’s license and be comfortable driving a 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 1/2 Ton truck while pulling a 16-foot enclosed trailer. Also, this individual would work closely with RightOnTrek’s owner to learn the best practices of successful business creation and management. Our owner has started numerous successful businesses, the last of which recently topped the one billion dollar mark.
Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and experienced outdoors-person familiar with backpacking, camping and hiking gear. This position is targeted for someone looking to break into the outdoor industry and/or learn about business from a master entrepreneur, in addition to being on the ground floor of a really cool startup company seeking to help more people gain an appreciation for and experience in the great outdoors.
