Purple Academy Looking for Online English Teachers for TOEFL and high-level classes at Remote Full Time

At Purple Academy, we pursue a natural approach to English-learning known as ‘acquisition’. Our programs are based on the curriculum from the United States, which enables us to give equal opportunity to those students whose first language is not English.

Purple Academy is currently hiring Online English Teachers for TOEFL and high-level classes.

The teacher will have to lecture basically but also give spelling test, homework check and run discussion based on given materials.

Purple Academy is looking for passionate and enthusiastic online English teachers with work ethic to guide, coach and help students achieve their reading comprehension using provided materials. (Books, Videos, articles, and worksheets provided)

• Hiring Online English Teacher(18, or older) for Korean Children(G1~G4 or older)
• 120 ~ 150minutes of online teaching with a small group of students for each class (Basic teaching material will be provided)
• 1~4 classes every week between Mon-Fri 7pm ~ 11pm in KST (Please make sure you are available at this time.)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Certificates related to teaching English (TESOL, TEFL – English, minimum of 120 hours)
• Speaks English at idiomatic level
• Enthusiastic and energetic
• Getting along well with kids
• Communicative with headquarter and children in class

• Majored in English/Teaching/Education/Linguistics.
• Prior experience in using Zoom.
• Prior experience in learning new languages

$30~50/h + ($4.50 per feedback)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract

Salary: $30 ~ 50 per hour (depending on previous experience) for teaching & $4.50 per feedback for student’s writing assignment

We would require a sample lesson before an interview. Base materials would be given. We pay you for a sample lesson based on the salary rate!!
