Job Summary
The T&D Services Administrative Manager leads the administrative organization of the PSEG Long Island Transportiaton and Equipment (T&E) and Materials & Logisitcs Management (M&LM) operations across the eight (8) PSEGLI regional yards. Manages the department’s clerical and performance measurement staff in collaboration with Line of Business clients in performing administrative functions supporting supply chain management, vehicle lease and rental programs, vehicle registration and titling, asset retirement and disposition, vehicle stipend programs, and notices of traffic violations. Maintains, validates, and audits SAP and other system data and records to ensure data integirty of scorecard metrics, capital and O&M budget variances, and garage and warehouse operations records. Ensures compliance with all state/federal regulations and company practices, procedures, and policies pertaining to T&E and M&LM operations. Responds to LIPA data requests and participates in LIPA and Company led process assessments and audits.
Job Responsibilities
Manages a team of clerks and analysts supporting the Transportation and Equipment (T&E) and the Material & Logistics Managemennt (M&LM) operations functions.
Yearly budget planning and budget board book preparation (capital and O&M), monthly variance explanations and accruals, and regular monitoring of capital and O&M spend to meet with budgetiary targets
Oversee/support regulatory and corporate compliance (LIPA, Federal EPACT requirements, FDNY variance requests, DOT requirements, FMCSA, and NY DMV paperwork for both assets and inspection locations)
Perform SAP (work management) data validation and manage department record retention program
Oversee the processing of purchase orders, supplier invoicing, and payment for the T&E and M&LM departments
Respond to internal client, company and regulatory requests for department data including LIPA data requests, assessments and audits
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
Bachelors Degree in Business, Statistics, Finance or related field discipline with at least 6 years of relevant work experience
Supervisory experience
Demonstrated organization, analytical, and quantitative analysis skills
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Products and work management applications
Demonstrated ability to develop new approaches with applicable tools to measure success
Ability to promote team effectiveness by soliciting input from team members, communicating expectations of the team and delegating responsibilities while providing support and structure
Demonstrated ability to work across LIne of Business and department boundaries as well as with LIPA staff and external regulators
Desired
MBA or progress towards one
Experience in Transportation, Material and Logistics, Safety, Compliance administration or operations
Experience with SilentPassenger, Sharepoint and Tableau
Experience working with union associates and grievance process
