Fortune 500 Company seeks a PDE Analyst in the marine transport industry, in addition to the following attributes:

• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate through both written correspondence and verbal communication

• Charter Party review and analysis
• Charter Party database management
• Monthly review of claims and resolutions

Supporting Vessel Operations Coordinators (VOCs)

• Voyage data management using tools such as IMOS, Power BI, and Microsoft SharePoint
• Develop and maintain shipping and process flow metrics to identify and close gaps
• Analysis and/or draft freight, freight-related, demurrage, and secondary shipping claims
• Create metrics by pulling data from multiple sources
• Analyze data with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Voyage Accounting

• Create cost records in the Shipping groups operational software (IMOS) related to items such as vessel hire, freight, and voyage costs (port, 3rd party support, etc.)
• Review and negotiate post-deal receivables maintaining the maximum claim amount
• Review post-deal payables ensuring accurate payments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 1-year of demurrage/post-deal claims experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Maritime Studies, Accounting, Business, Finance, or Mathematics
• Marine logistics or shipping experience
• Experience with charter party agreements
• Experience in a trading environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
