Patient Support Representative (Remote)

Potomac Psychiatry, located in Rockville, MD, is a rapidly growing, award-winning medical practice. We have been operating fully remotely since March of 2020. Our practice comprises a multidisciplinary team of 11 clinicians and a dedicated administrative support team. We seek a highly motivated and exceptional individual with strong customer service skills, who is eager to learn and gain experience in an exciting and fast paced environment. The candidate will be part of an elite team that enhances patient satisfaction, provides caring support to patients, understands and enjoys learning about diagnostic testing, and manages front desk administrative responsibilities. The applicant must enjoy providing support and working as a team while being able to multi-task. This position is ideal for a person wanting to work for a rapidly growing business that will allow them to contribute to and participate in the ambitious growth plans for the practice. This position will be fully remote, and candidates must live in Maryland. The start date for this position is July 18th, 2022. All applicants must provide a cover letter.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide caring support to new patients on the phone
• Understand and effectively communicate our clinicians’ specialties, as well as our programs and diagnostic testing
• Handle patient questions and concerns
• Support our clinical team around scheduling, medication refills, paperwork, and other needs
• Provide administrative support for Root Cause Psychiatry, Forensics, Assessments, and other programs and take detailed notes during weekly program meetings
• Additional duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

• 3-5 years working in a medical field OR strong customer service/concierge sales background
• Fluency in Spanish Language preferred, but not required
• Experience managing projects

• Ability to multi-task and maintain organization across multiple systems
• Self-motivated and resourceful
