The IT Auditor is an integral part of Phillips Internal Audit organization, participating in a broad range of activities covering technology-related evaluations in support of the company’s Information Technology capability and delivery, as well as business processes assessments.
Assignments are based on individual skill sets, preferences, and development needs.
Internal Audit’s mission is to protect and enhance organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight, while providing staff development opportunities.
Internal Audit helps Phillips accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.
The Internal Audit function utilizes assurance and consulting activities to support its mission and to enhance the value provided to the business units.
Activities include traditional assurance audits and SOX compliance testing. Consulting activities are also provided to assist the IT function and businesses in delivering effective solutions that appropriately manage risk.
