JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Legal Recruiter at LHI you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and placing legal professionals within law firms and corporate legal departments. In addition, you will be following up on leads from LHI’s lead generation program.
This position requires a minimum of two years of agency-side experience in legal recruitment and the ability to manage a full recruitment desk effectively. Your in-depth knowledge of the legal recruitment landscape, including law firm rankings, law school rankings, and the in-house legal practice, will be instrumental in your success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition: Identify and engage top legal talent through various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with law firms and corporate legal departments to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments of legal professionals to evaluate their skills, qualifications, and compatibility with client requirements.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, law firm rankings, and law school rankings to provide valuable insights and advice to clients and candidates. Follow up on
LHI’s lead generation initiatives as assigned. This may include from time to time, calls after normal business hours and on Saturday mornings.
Negotiation: Facilitate offer negotiations between clients and candidates, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of two years of agency-side legal recruitment experience.
Proven track record of running a full recruitment desk.
In-depth knowledge of the legal recruitment space, including law firm rankings, law school rankings, and in-house legal practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Law degree highly desired.
Relevant industry certifications or memberships is a plus.
COMPENSATION:
Salary is ranging from $60k to $95K plus incentives that can reach as high as $250K.
