Peking Handicraft, Inc. Looking for FASHION BEDDING DESIGNER at South San Francisco, CA Full Time

Peking Handicraft, Inc., a global manufacturer specializing in fashion home textiles, decorative accessories and gift items. Our varieties of products consist of renowned designer collections as well as exciting designs from our in-house design studio. Both are trend right and of exceptional quality and value. We sell to major retailers. We are looking for a talented designer with strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills to join our team in South San Francisco.

Qualifications:

-College degree in Fashion Design

-Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

-Proficient in creating print repeats within Illustrator and Photoshop and arrange layout in CAD format

-Must have strong understanding of fabric, embroideries, appliques, trims, fabric manipulations, cut and sew construction of home textile

-High taste level with strong sense of trend and color applications

-Motivated team player with attention to details and deadlines in fast pace environment

-Good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem solving skills

-Willingness to take creative directions and work as part of a team

-2 years’ experience minimum

Job Requirements:

-Conceptualize and design salable and cohesive collections in CAD via Photoshop and Illustrator

-Design projects include: Quilts, comforters, shams, decorative pillows, sheets and accessories

-Research internal and external sources prior to developing trend right designs

-Interpret product design with understanding of costs, fabric repeats, fabric construction, color, and cut and sew manufacturing factors

-Compile and complete technical packages including construction detail drawings

-Work closely with design team, creative service team, and product development team

-Keep organized files
