Pangaea Adventures Looking for Alaska Adventure Tourism Office Manager at Alaska Full Time

Join our small, upbeat crowd, working with a small sea kayak guiding outfit based in Valdez, Alaska. We are looking for a positive, hard-working, team-oriented self-starter who would like to spend a fun summer, working a rewarding job in a beautiful place with talented, good people.

We are looking for the right individual to help run our busy office, conveniently located on the Valdez Harbor. Job detail includes keeping a clean and orderly office site, guest interaction, selling trips, taking bookings, receiving payments, using our accounting software, maintaining a dynamic water taxi and trip schedule, shuttling guests, helping with trip prep, possibly guiding some sea kayak tours, etc…

Sharp attention to detail, a willingness to learn, solid judgment, sound common sense, good people skills, and of course, a passion for the outdoors are all musts! We are only hiring US Nationals at this time.

The dates of employment run 5/8 – 9/14. Rustic accommodation is provided in a choice spot on the edge of town, within a quick bike ride from our office.
