About the Role

Driving sales in their designated/assigned territories for bareMinerals and Buxom through providing exceptional service to their accounts, motivating and education are key as well as the prospecting and opening of new accounts. Account executives are responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with their accounts, the Spa team and all cross-functional partners.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional support and service to accounts, creating strong business partnerships
• Provide strategic direction to accounts, creating formalized plans to drive sales
  • Create annual sales and strategy plans for each account. Outline the necessary steps to meet sales goals monthly and/or weekly.
  • Create and execute events and marketing strategies that drive sales, increase brand awareness and maximize merchandise sell through.
  • Analyze competitors’ business, identifying opportunities to improve our strategies and execution.
• Assist in inventory management and control, making necessary recommendations to grow inventory levels and increase sales
• Ensure accounts have a consistent, thorough ordering process in place that allows them to manage cash flow and sell through items in a timely manner
• Ensure all accounts are trained on NuOrder to place their orders
  • Account executive must be proficient and comfortable with system to place orders as well.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas through identifying ways to drive the business
• Continuously generate a sales pipeline for new and existing business
• Commit and agree with business owner on a consistent call cycle and service strategy to meet and exceed the business needs
• Achieve key brand placement within the account, maximizing bareMinerals and/or Buxom positioning
• Execute promotional events and key brand marketing programs
  • Inform accounts to subscribe to all bareMinerals, Laura Mercier and/or Buxom social media platforms to enable reposting capability on all social assets.
• • Create and execute training plans within each account on new and existing products.
  • Motivate, train and influence sales through sharing selling skills, artistry tips and product knowledge
  • Ensure that all new team members / associates in an account are trained on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate educational classes /seminars that include but not limited to New Account openings, new product launches, brand ambassadors.
  • Account Executives are expected to attend all market week meetings /webinars sessions
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director and Regional Sales & Education Executive on territory needs and personal needs
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all products and ingredients
• New Accounts: the opening of new accounts is critical to the continued growth of the business. Expectations are as follows:
  • Cold calling, cyber-prospecting and relationship building.
  • Determine if the account is a fit for the brand. Does this account have growth potential, and will it promote brand recognition?
  • New account openings should happen every quarter.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years account/territory management experience in the cosmetics/beauty field; Independent Accounts background desired
• 3 – 5 years account acquisition/sell-in experience
• College degree preferred
• Steady and proven track record of sales growth
• Experience in developing comprehensive business plans, and understanding of P&L’s for the region
• Demonstrated experience working with budget parameters
• Training background with a focus on beauty a plus
• Aesthetics license, education, and artistry a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle that can be used for business purposes
• Ability to travel as the business dictates and market demands.
• Days spent in field each determined by markets and account needs
• Touch Base form to be completed weekly with monthly and quarterly forecast sent to Regional Director prior to touch base call for review
• If a scheduling conflict presents itself during a touch base call, alternative times to be presented to Regional Director in advance for reschedule
• Calendar to be completed prior to the start of each month
  • Calendar to be maintained and updated with any changes to reflect accuracy
• Notes from meetings and event recaps to be completed daily or by the following office day at minimum
• Any cancelations of meetings / trainings that result in a change to field time must be communicated to Regional Director immediately to determine best way to reallocate time in field
• Minimum of 4 events held quarterly (for example master class, training, make overs/skincare events)
• Launch sell-in and dollar goal as agreed upon with Regional Director
• Business plans should include stringent inventory management, elevated visual standards, premium space and location, trainings and sales driving activities monthly in the form of events, Gifts with Purchase, staff sales contests, etc.
• Attendance
  • Vacation time is subject to Regional Director’s approval and needs of the business. Requests should be made in advance for review
  • If you are sick and unable to work or need to return home due to illness, Regional Director should be notified immediately
  • Any requests for additional office time due to inclement weather or other purpose must be approved in advance by Regional Director and accompanied by a recap form to Regional Director
• All budgets to be managed and adhered to with any additional expenditures approved in advance by Regional Director or VP

In accordance with thePay Transparencyrequirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is$85,000-$134,000

The range listed is just one component of Orveon’s total compensation package for employees.
