Summary: This individual will manage all aspects of Human Resources within the manufacturing facility including but not limited to general benefits administration, workers compensation, performance appraisal, employee relations, training, safety, recruiting, hiring, and termination of employees, and all documentation associated with these programs/tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Manages talent acquisition process including sourcing, testing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
* Oversees the facility training program to ensure annual training is being completed; work with leadership team to coordinate as needed.
* Maintains a pay plan by scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets for management; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions
* Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization.
* Ensure that employee information is kept current and accurate in the company’s HRIS system including but not limited to job title, wage/salary, vacation/PTO accruals, personal, and payroll information.
* Process all “Change in Status” request in the HRIS database timely and accurately.
* Provide counsel and advice to facility leadership team on matters that relate to employee issues and Human Resource policies, procedures, and regulatory issues and further ensure that Orizon is acting in compliance with all applicable state and federal employment/wage and labor laws and regulations.
* Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation
* Provides training to new staff members in, human resources, techniques and methodologies, orients staff with appropriate laws, policies, regulations and procedures, and ensures that work conforms to standards, regulations, and laws in related areas and coordinates special projects.
* Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of staff members performing a variety of human resources functions and recommends changes in practices and procedures to increase operating efficiency and expedite work flow.
* Develops the performance enhancement plan, documents performance, provides performance feedback, and formally evaluates the work of employees.
* Review payroll reports for accuracy
* Ensure appropriate disciplinary action is taken and tracked for violation of company policies up to and including termination.
* Ensure the facilities Safety personnel have the needed safety policies in place, and are being enforced, tracked and measured.
* Verify Worker’s Compensation reporting and record keeping, as well as all OSHA related documentation is being completed timely.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
