Residential Therapist

One Hope United’s residential care program provides a range of quality services to adolescents in foster care.
Youth entering residential care are traumatized and sometimes in crisis. As a therapist in our residential program, you are a part of a team that provides a range of mental health services to our youth. Your work in assessing and planning treatment will lead a team of professionals and paraprofessionals to help our youth grow.
What you would be doing (through a hybrid work location model):
Completing initial and ongoing assessments of all of your clients
Creating individualized treatment plans that address presenting issues of all your clients (follows Medicaid rule 132 when required)
Providing individual, family, and group therapy services as outlined in the clients’ individual treatment plans
Completing service documentation reflecting therapeutic interactions with your clients (Also follows Medicaid rule 132)
Attending staffings, meetings, and trainings, as well as facilitating or presenting them as needed
Providing on-call and crisis intervention services (remotely)
Leading and participating in consultations with staff to help meet the clinical needs of clients and their families
Conducting specialized groups for educational, social skills development, and supportive services

What we will expect of you:
Education
You will need a MA, MS, or MSW degree in counseling, psychology, social work or in a related field. (Your degree must meet Medicaid 132 requirements.)
Licensure
Clinical licensure (LCPC or LCSW) preferred
Experience
QMHP designation required
Medicaid documentation required
