Job Description
Searching for Senior Logistics Transportation Data Analyst who’s extremely comfortable with data; whether it’s carrier, financial or statistics. This along with senior level ability to identify issues and construct workable mitigations along the end-to-end supply chain. This role is global in nature and will function as a lead when it comes to leading edge transformational digitization projects kicking off in the very near term. This position will be a hybrid working schedule.
Job Duties
Develop appropriate logistics KPI’s to drive results and continuous improvement including cost to service, quality, and lead time performance for all modes of transportation.
Work with finance and data (DnA) team to improve global transportation freight reporting
Lead and develop strategic business initiatives by identifying efficiency opportunities, providing analytical expertise, and supporting data driven decisions throughout the global the supply chain.
Maintain various industry benchmarking metrics to analyze the health of the supply chain and leverage information to implement best practices including new supply chain solutions, market financial and performance rates.
Manage domestic and international transportation provider relationships including supporting contractual negotiation needs.
Work cross functionally with supply chain team on transformational global projects and improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, mathematics, logistics, engineering, finance or other relevant fields of study.
Minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient knowledge and demonstrated experience in Microsoft office suite.
Working knowledge of Power BI (1+ Year).
Excel SuperUser skills, pivots, aggregation, v-lookups etc.
Experience with data mining/manipulation from disparate sources, Familiarity with ERPs such as SAP or Oracle, data aggregator P44 and/or control towers such as o9, Lean or Continuous Improvement training and/or certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Green belt preferred),
Experience with data mining/manipulation from disparate sources
Critical thinking / data visualization skills.
Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem solution skills.
Knowledge of transportation networks/systems/rate structures for global carriers.
Attention to detail with a strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, use problem solving, and time management skills to meet or exceed deadlines, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, evolving environment.
Ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work with many cultures and across many countries/time zones.
SAP experience a plus.
