Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui’s Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua’s Wailuku location is a 124-bed nursing facility.

The Position:

We’re looking for passionate Administrative Assistant / Patient Account Representative to serve as the liaison between our guests and their families and the business services department. Additional duties include:

Meets with guests and families upon admission and at discharge to discuss insurance coverages and financial arrangements.
Processes payments received.
Help support the overall efficiency and functionality of the billing department
Complete insurance verifications (training will be provided).

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
One (1) year of experience in healthcare, administrative assistant, or related field.
Associate Degree or a combination of education and experience in healthcare related field preferred.
