MSTP – Fires Systems Operator

Primary Location: Quantico, VA

Security Clearance: Secret

Specific Responsibilities

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Fires Systems Operator to develop, run tests, implement, and maintain operating systems and related software. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems. Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and performs data recoveries.

The mission of the MSTP is to provide training in MAGTF across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint and/or Combined Task Force environment, to improve the warfighting skills, with the main effort of providing training and support.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• IAT Level II

• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Windows Server Update Services; Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); Host Based Security System; and IBM BigFix. Experience in Windows Servers, Linux Red Hat Servers environments (virtual and bare metal)

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• Mid-Level – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent w/ 3+ Years Direct Relevant Experience

• Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.

• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
