The Opportunity
As an OBHG hospitalist, you are the in-house expert whose advanced clinical skill and ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction. You will work closely with local OB/GYNs to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician, every time.

Hospital Information:
Lawnwood Regional Medical Center provides the only level II Trauma Center and level III NICU in the area. It is comprised of seven Labor/Delivery/Recovery suites with an operating room on the unit so patients needing a caesarean section can be cared for by the same caring and professional Labor and Delivery staff. The NICU is a 10-bed unit caring for babies over 1,000 grams. There is always a Board-Certified Neonatologist on-site, all Registered Nurses are certified in neonatal resuscitation, and the addition of the OBHG hospitalist program provides an additional safety net for patients and local providers.

Often called the Sunrise City, Ft. Pierce has been the hub of St. Lucie County for more than 100 years. Situated on the Treasure Coast,15 mi north of Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce is one of the oldest communities on the east coast of Florida. The hospital is located in Fort Pierce with just a short commute to live in the highly desirable Vero Beach, Stewart or St. Lucie areas. Vero Beach is a very up and coming trendy area, with the most affordable real estate options for buying into water front properties on the treasure coast!
