Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This role is fully remote anywhere in the US.
Roles and Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Providing sourcing support for a variety of engineering and technical areas, to include: sourcing, screening, and managing candidate relationships with recruiters.
Managing competing priorities, remaining highly flexible in an ever-changing environment while consistently anticipating and delivering exceptional talent acquisition solutions to recruiters.
Sourcing and recruiting qualified talent while maintaining excellent customer service with hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders.
Strategic Talent Acquisition:
Applying a business mindset to the talent acquisition function.
Making connections between all talent management phases (acquisition, development, retention, culture).
Leveraging data and market intelligence to develop and execute staffing strategies.
Successfully blending diversity, regulatory requirements and business strategy throughout the process.
Sourcing:
Demonstrating a deep understanding of the external recruiting landscape within their function.
Successfully sourcing and attracting passive external talent.
Utilizing Boolean search methodology and execution as part of sourcing efforts.
Leveraging sourcing data in weekly conversations with hiring managers and TA leadership.
Consultation:
Attaining a high level understanding of our business, program, technological and cultural challenges.
Demonstrating uncompromising ethical standards, integrity and respect for people.
Maintaining composure under stress and understands how externalized emotions impact others.
Demonstrating self-awareness of strengths and opportunities; acting with humility by asking for feedback.
Serving as a steward of the company; placing the needs of the company/ department before personal.
Assessment and Selection:
Accurately assessing candidates (via in-person or phone) for cultural, competency and skill fit.
Quickly synthesizing candidate and hiring manager feedback.
Routinely pre-closing candidates (early in the process) to ensure high acceptance rates.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 2:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting experience; OR a master’s degree and 1+ years of sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting experience; OR a master’s degree and 4+ years of sourcing and/or full-cycle recruiting experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Additional Basic qualifications for both levels:
Experience with sourcing technical talent across various engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Cyber, and Physics).
Previous experience sourcing cleared talent.
Experience sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter and Clearancejobs.
US citizenship required, with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in both agency and corporate recruiting.
Prior experience sourcing and/or recruiting in Aerospace and Defense, specifically space industry.
Experience sourcing candidates in CO/MD/CA.
Experience with sourcing technical talent across various engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Cyber, and Physics).
Previous experience sourcing candidates with military background.
Demonstrated ability to command the attention and respect of leadership.
Ability to create and manage strategic alliances while driving the process.
This position reports to Fairfax, VA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Baltimore, MD, MD, USA.
Salary Range: $63,800 USD – $95,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $78,500 USD – $117,700 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
