Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Program Control Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will lead the Staffing and Rotation Council within Rolling Meadows, Amherst and Apopka locations. This position reports to the Director of Business Integration and also partners with the Vice President Business Manager located in Rolling Meadows.
This position is located onsite in Rolling Meadows, IL. A hybrid work schedule is available at the discretion of the hiring manager.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead the Rolling Meadows Pathways programs.
Work with leadership to determine best practices relative to training and educational plans and identify mentors and navigators.
Conduct monthly meetings with participants and rotational managers.
Manage yearly timelines and hiring requirements to ensure seamless rotations.
Facilitate resume reviews, schedule interviews, and make hiring decisions as required.
Lead the Rolling Meadows business management summer intern program.
Work with managers and the sector early career team to determine the requirements for the summer program.
Facilitate resume reviews, schedule interviews, and make hiring decisions.
Interact on a regular basis with interns and managers.
Lead the Staffing and Rotation Council (SARC) for the central region, Rolling Meadows being the primary location.
Conduct monthly meetings with the SARC members to evaluate staffing requirements and rotational options.
Provide monthly hiring status to the Rolling Meadows business management leadership team and sector business management homeroom.
Create and distribute communications to all business management professionals and managers to encourage open dialogue between managers/professionals regarding rotational opportunities and career aspirations.
Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) to post requisitions as required; screen candidates sourced by TA, coordinate interviews; prepare evaluations and lead offer/no offer discussions with managers.
Lead the Rolling Meadows onboarding team focused on professional assimilation into the workforce from offer acceptance through coach and partnership relationships to ensure career enhancement.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years or a master’s degree with 7+ years of relatable experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of professionals and management
Knowledge and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP experience or other ERP systems
Proven leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to mentor and train assigned staff as required
Salary Range: $153,000 USD – $229,400 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
