Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a **Facilities Planner** to join our growing team of diverse professionals supporting our III Corps program at **Fort** **Bliss** in **Texas** . The selected candidate will address facility-related issues at the Fort Bliss Mission Training Complex (MTC).
**Responsibilities:**
+ Identifies and implements all applicable government regulations, policies, and procedures
+ Ensures all MTC facilities are appropriately and adequately maintained
+ Plans, coordinates, and supervises MTC facility maintenance, future construction, and grounds programs
+ Coordinates with the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) to plan and execute both routine and emergency facility repairs
+ Represents the government customer, as directed, at installation-level facility meetings
+ Develops and implements key control procedures IAW AR 190-11 and 190-51
+ Establishes and maintains the U.S. Army’s Training Support – Materiel Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS) data for the MTC as well as serving as the MTC System Administrator for TS-MATS
+ Establishes and maintains a facility scheduling procedure for training and non-exercise related classroom and training facility space; collects and maintains facility utilization statistics
+ Supervises the MTC Fire Marshall and Safety programs
+ Duties require occasional outside work
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ One of the following:
+ High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of Facilities experience
+ Associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of Facilities experience
+ Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of Facilities experience
+ Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of Facilities experience
+ Previous Army leadership experience
+ Minimum of 6 months experience managing Army facilities and familiarity with the Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) work-order process
+ Must have strong knowledge of Army property / supply accountability procedures involving facilities, supplies, and automation equipment
+ Ability to schedule classrooms, equipment, and other training resources
+ Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
+ Must be able to work on-site at Fort Bliss near El Paso, Texas
+ Ability to occasionally lift computer and other equipment generally not in excess of 30 lbs.
+ Additional physical requirements include standing for periods of time exceeding 1 hour, crawling under or over office furniture, and sitting for periods of time exceeding 2 hours
+ Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access)
+ Ability to effectively communicate in person and with e-mail, telephone, VTC, and TEAMS
**Salary Range:** $60,600 – $90,800
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
