Northrop Grumman’s Chief Information Office is seeking an Automation developer.This position can be performed as a virtual employee.
Job Duties
Automation Design and Development to support the Workday platform:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, including data exchange, transformation, and workflow automation.
Design, develop, and implement operational efficiencies leveraging Blue Prism or Workday Extend.
Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and comply with data privacy regulations.
Proactively monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
Create technical documentation including design specifications, mappings, and test plans.
Conduct testing, including unit testing and end-to-end testing, to ensure successful deployment and minimize system disruptions.
Partner with Workday teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Communicate effectively with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress, timelines, and potential risks.
Basic Q ualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience or master’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
Proven experience with Blue Prism or Workday Extend automation.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Eager to learn and motivated to perform independent research as well as collaborate with others.
Understanding of HR processes, including core HR, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Performance is a plus.
Familiarity with SAFe agile practices and Jira or ServiceNow Application Portfolio Management is a plus.
Salary Range: $77,200 USD – $115,800 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
