North Cascades Institute (NCI) is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Operations Coordinator (OC) position. The OC is responsible for assisting with the management of daily business activities and administrative tasks based out of the Environmental Learning Center (ELC). The OC oversees the general operations of the front office and ensures that logistical needs are met under the direction of the Operations Manager. This position collaborates with many staff, partners, volunteers, and requires a high degree of initiative, independence and professionalism, as well as discretion in handling confidential information. The jobsite is a remote National Park which can experience snow-covered roads, avalanches, wildfire, smoke, wild animals, and flooding. This is a regular, full-time, position supervised by the Operations Director.

Compensation
This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position. The pay rate is $18.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is subject to a $1 increase for utilizing non-NCI housing. The job location for this position is at the Environmental Learning Center.
