Hall Aide – Virtual Interview Day – September 7th, 2023

The Hall Aide will maintain assigned areas of the Hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive manner in accordance with established policies and procedures, using simple, repetetive tasks. This position is supervised by the Director, Senior Supervisor and Supervisors of the Building Services Department. Hall Aides attend monthly staff meetings, numerous in-service meetings, annual safety meetings, annual performance appraisal interview and numerous informal one-to-one meetings as necessary. This position works in contact with employees, patients visitors.
We have Part Time and Full Time positions available.
FT Day – 7a-3p alternating weekends
FT Evenings – 3p-11p with alternating weekends
PT Day – 7a-3p with weekends
FT Senior Hall Aide Evenings – 3p-11p with alternating weekends
How will the event work? All interviews will be completed through live video. Come prepared to tell us about yourself, and speak personally with leadership from some of our Support Services at NYP. You will also meet with a representative from our Talent Acquisition team. This is your chance to make a lasting impression on our hiring team.
Who is invited to this event? Qualified candidates will have extensive customer services experience, housekeeping experience or experience in hotel, restaurant or retail industry.
What happens next? This event will be held on Thursday, September 7th between 10am to 4pm. Once you are registered for the event, you will receive an email confirmation with details from the NYP Talent Acquisition team.

Preferred Criteria
- High School Diploma or GED
Required Criteria
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, environmental service or housekeeping work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
