The Center for Autism and the Developing Brain (CADB) is an outpatient hospital-based facility located in White Plains on the Westchester Behavioral Health campus. CADB is made up of an interdisciplinary team of a psychiatrists, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, a social worker, BCBA, occupational therapist, pediatrician, developmental pediatrician, neurologist, and nutritionist who work together caring for patients and their families.
Administrative Clerk – Center for Autism and the Developing Brain
The Administrative Clerk, as a member of CADB’s administrative team, and under the supervision of the center’s Program Director, is the first person welcoming our patients when they arrive at our reception desk. You will be responsible for opening the office in preparation for the day’s patients. The Administrative Clerk handles scheduling for assigned providers, manages incoming calls, makes scheduling updates, provides general information and refers callers to appropriate staff members; checks in patients; screens patients and visitors prior to entry; and handles other general administrative duties.
This is a full-time day shift opportunity from 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. This position is at NYP/Westchester Behavioral Health in the Center for Autism and the Developing Brain.
Required Criteria
- High School diploma or GED
- Six-months of related experience
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
Preferred Criteria
- Prior experience scheduling for a doctor or therapist
- Prior reception experience in a medical office
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook and Excel
- Prior experience operating EPIC
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus

$23.39-$34.28/Hourly
