Position Title: Associate Attorney (Family & Civil Litigation)

An Associate Attorney is needed to work from our main office in downtown Vero Beach, one block from the courthouse. We are a small firm focused on divorce, family-law, and general civil litigation. Recently licensed applicants, recent graduates, and test-takers will be considered. Experience, including in other practice areas, is a plus but not required. Pay is salary plus discretionary bonus. Twice per year, all professional employees are evaluated and paid bonus income, in part, based on performance.
Technological proficiency is required because our office if mostly paperless. The modern practice of law requires attorneys to be able to create and manipulate electronic documents, file electronically, use software to generate documents or analyze issues, and perform electronic research. The successful candidate will be required to work in the office with two partners, other associates, and paralegals.
Associate attorneys are responsible for managing workflow and meeting deadlines without allowing quality to suffer. He or she must be capable of demonstrating exemplary communication with clients, attorneys, judges, judicial staff, and peers. He or she must be capable of resolving routine legal issues under the direction of a partner. Competency with legal research and analysis is required. In-court experience is preferred but not required. Owning your work from start to finish is the only way to succeed.
Napier & Rollin is a comfortable and relaxed but professional work environment. We focus on quality results for our clients. Hours can be flexible, but attorneys are expected to place their highest priority on meeting the demands of the clients. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience and consistent with the local market. Overall compensation and performance is reviewed twice per year. Bonus income is correlated to overall performance. Exceptional performance is rewarded.

Salary: $65,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Estimated Bonus: $10,000 – $30,000 per year
