Position Summary:
The Patient Access Data Specialist is responsible for the accurate review and processing of client information in order to maintain client record in the electronic health record (EHR) and serve as a resource to both clinical staff and administrative teams.

Minimum Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Strong, accurate skill in keyboarding/data entry.
Ability to understand, maintain and communicate a working knowledge of all agency programs, services and staff.
Ability to prioritize and organize the multiple demands of the position.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively work as a team player.
Ability to display a positive, professional, cooperative manner at all times.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
Knowledge of and skill in the use of personal computer.
Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office products.
Skill in time management and ability to meet deadlines
Skill in good oral, written and interpersonal communication
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to willingly accept responsibility
Ability to set priorities and use good judgment

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Three (3) years prior clerical experience in an office setting required
Two (2) years of experience working in mental health systems or other healthcare services using healthcare software systems preferred

Compensation Range:
B11 – Min: $18.38-Max: $26.46
