Job Summary:
The Procurement Sourcing & Strategy Manager is responsible for several key areas focused on (1) the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing and category strategies and (2) the successful execution of those strategies to drive greater efficiency, value, and quality across the organization. This position will develop, implement and execute procurement activities to include vendor sourcing selection, contract negotiations and administration for $150MM-$500MM in goods and services within an assigned expense category area. This position is responsible for developing and driving portfolio strategies, transformation, projects and the execution of sourcing activities and initiatives. This role will serve as a strategic leader and contact point responsible for building and managing relationships with key stakeholders and vendors and will be required to identify strategic sourcing initiatives, drive cost savings, identify and execute on efficiencies and support growth strategies within the respective departments supported. In addition, this position will provide functional/strategic support and management leadership to direct and indirect reports as they: lead complex high-risk vendor contract negotiations throughout the contract lifecycle; analyze and leverage business requirements, minimize contractual, business and regulatory risk and maximize reward (ROI/ROE) to the Bank; provide and communicate contractual, business and regulatory advice relating to contract terms and conditions; and develop a negotiation strategy suitable for each vendor and lead each negotiation to successful completion.
This position manages a team that is front-facing to the Business for all procurement related needs and interfaces heavily with the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Information & Operations Officer, and Union Bank President and Head of Regional Bank as well as other Enterprise Spend Management (ESM) groups including the Tactical Sourcing, Third-Party Risk Management and Procurement Operations teams for the purpose of directing work.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $164K – $185K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
