This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office an average of two to three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of the connectivity channel, MUFG Connect including development of related new products and major enhancements. Coordinate product development and management activities with Bank departments and outside vendors to expeditiously promote and deliver quality products to the marketplace. Prioritize the expenditure of the Bank’s resources to ensure the most cost effective development of products and new enhancements. Ensure that the appropriate consulting and sales functions are informed of new products and enhancements.
Major Responsibilities:
Develop new services and products based on the Bank’s goals and objectives. Analyze and evaluate new concepts and develop marketing strategies to determine feasibility and market potential.
Advise management of potential delivery capabilities through preparation of strategy presentations or papers that define markets, product design, profit, marketing costs, alternative systems, operating expenditures and capitalization.
Maintain an awareness of major industry trends and evaluate enhancement opportunities. Responsible for preparing annual Bank forecasts of product volume, revenues and costs.
Deep understanding of ERP/TMS/Payment applications and market trends associated with the use of these systems
Support acquisition of new business through participation in sales, describe connectivity solutions
Ability to articulate connectivity solutions to different audiences, e.g. accounting, treasury, technology, risk, ensuring solutions meet needs of each respective group
Develop and supervise the writing of internal and user procedures and guides. Develop strategies for pricing, advertising, marketing and training for assigned product lines.
Review requests from line management to modify and/or change strategies, design or procedures of existing products. Determine cost effectiveness and compliance with auditing procedures and legal requirements.
May assist in the overseeing/training of more junior level employees.
Actively ensure compliance with the Bank’s Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training.
Experience with Integrated Payables and/or Paymode-X a plus
This position typically requires a degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.) and a minimum of seven years of technical experience. Experience implementing and/or selling accounting and treasury software a plus
The typical base pay range for this role is between $124,000 – $153,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
