We are looking for a passionate Sophomore or Junior college student to join our corporate headquarters team in Paramus, New Jersey, as an Intern supporting our Business Controls department.

Hours: Part time, up to 25 hours per week during normal office hours. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.

This is a PAID internship.

Responsibilities:

• Directly assist internal auditors on day-to-day basis with analytic projects
• Work with external auditors on direct assistance projects
• Identify accounting and auditing issues; perform research to solve issues that arise
• Perform tests of internal controls in compliance with SOX standards
• Provide recommendations for improved controls and enhanced business efficiency
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary / appropriate as they arise.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Accounting / Audit Major
• Overall GPA 3.0 or Higher / Major GPA 3.5 or higher
• Prior office work experience helpful
• Strong work ethic & communication skills
• Knowledge of MS-Word, MS-Excel
• Knowledge of SAP a plus
• Minimum 2 full days per week required, at least 6 hours per day during normal office hours (Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm)
