Mountain Meadow Ranch is a co-ed, sleep-away summer camp for kids ages 7 to 16. We have enjoyed 61 summers of family-owned and operated summer camp life, our current directors are our third generation! Uniquely located on a spacious 900-acre ranch north of Lake Tahoe, in the northeastern slopes of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are nestled between the preserved natural beauty of the Lassen and Plumas National Forests, and the wild desert of the Great Basin. We offer a traditional camp program during the best weeks of summer. Our unique summer camp philosophy allows campers to bond and become like family through the many activities we provide.
Here at MMR we strive to create a very unique environment. An environment that is contrary to contemporary culture. Where technology is traded for all-present conversations and authentic friendships. Where true fun is had without the help of any substance. Where there is no pressure or expectancy for romantic relationships and everyone is viewed as family.
We want to move away from the norm and fight for greatness. We desire to prove the world wrong and be young people that stand up for wholesome living.
Camp is an intensive short-lived time, filled with kids that need us to be present in every moment. We want staff that is willing to give up themselves for the kids.
Our Support Staff are essential to the wellbeing of camp life. We are seeking individuals with servant hearts that enjoy, being in the kitchen and providing clean healthy environments for others.
As support staff you could be serving in any of the following areas:
Being a service role, you would not be working directly with our campers but during your free time would be able to participate in all camp has to offer! Our support staff consists of 5-6 other female workers in which you would room within our cozy support staff cabin in the woods, just a short walk to the dining hall!
