The Institute for Critical Care Medicine of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York, NY seeks dynamic fellowship-trained Intensivists to join its expanding team to attend in the adult Intensive Care Unit at Mount Sinai Brooklyn! Full time positions available.
Successful applicants will be outstanding, highly collaborative clinicians, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine with a passion for acute care and a shared commitment to our academic mission. Outstanding communication skills, a high emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Position Details:
The ICU at MSB is a closed unit and our intensivists communicate and coordinate care with subspecialists on the admitted ICU patients. The Intensivist work closely with an ICU Physician Assistant and perform bedside procedures such as central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar punctures, chest tube placement, intubations and manage mechanical ventilators. The ICU team take lead on rapid response, codes and code fasts.
Position Qualifications:
• Medical degree from an accredited university
• New York State Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine

• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• Respectfully collaborate and build relationships with a diverse set of teammates
