*If so, nice to meet you!* Mitsubishi Chemical Polyester Film is seeking a Process Engineer based in Greenville/Greer SC area to join a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results. The successful candidate will provide technical and operational support to the Films manufacturing process to ensure continual improvements in process capability, quality and productivity. Working in a team-based environment, the position will also be responsible for supporting knowledge and skill development of the operation personnel, coordinating significant downtime events and process upgrades, capital plan scope definition, safety improvements, new process development and product commercialization.

Principal Accountabilities
*What YOU Will Do…*
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability of the asset equipment they are assigned. Their responsibility may also include ensuring site-wide equipment and/or systems that are used site-wide. The maintenance engineer must be aware of those components in their area of responsibility that are prone to failure or could cause significant down-time due to failure and have plans in place to respond as needed. They will also be responsible for the coordination of all repairs, modifications and preventive maintenance activities in their area of responsibility.
*Essential Functions: *
* Ensure reliability for Film L10 and associated areas: Slitting, Grinding, Reclaim, and Chip/Flake handling.
* Provide technical maintenance and troubleshooting support to Film Line 10 and associated areas: Slitting, Grinding, Reclaim, and Chip/Flake handling.
* Work with Production Support Team to support upgrades, capital plan scope definition and safety improvements.
* Plan and coordinate downtime needed for maintenance and upgrades.
* Analyze equipment breakdowns and premature failures for root cause and failure trends.
* Implement equipment improves to address safety, quality, and productivity concerns.
* Gatekeeper for maintenance workorders.
* Monitor and control maintenance spending against budget.
* Key contact between areas of responsibility and Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance groups.
* Develop and update maintenance job plans.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
* B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in field
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Willingness to provide off hours support as needed.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work in team-based environment.
* Efficient at data analysis and statistical approach to problem solving
