The Regional Sales Manager produces results by providing leadership to area sales staff to gain market share and achieve sales goals.
Supervise all assigned Area Managers.
Identify current and potential sales opportunities within assigned regions.
Work closely with the Director of Retail Sales to a develop a business strategy to drive sales and brand growth.
Develop and maintain effective sales and forecasting metrices.
Collaborate with Area Managers to meet and exceed volume, operating profit, and market share objectives for assigned territories.
Conduct bi-annual store visits with Area Managers.
Facilitate bi-weekly calls with Area Managers to ensure alignment and commitment of established sales goals.
Implement and maintain processes and procedures for Area Managers to build rapport with current and potential key customer accounts.
Communicate clear objectives and strategies to Area Managers and customers.
Establish measurements and goals for Area Managers that provide constructive assessment of performance.
Create a culture where Area Managers are motivated, have clear direction, and opportunity for success.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports for senior management, with regular updates on results, challenges, opportunities, and competitive actions.
Travel as needed (up to 75%) throughout assigned area.
Identify competitive actions, trends and emerging marketplace needs.
Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.
