Position Summary
The Operations Analyst II is responsible for enhancing the quality of operations by increasing efficiencies with maintenance and production through the use of data gathering and analysis to increase cost savings, minimize downtime and increase OEE.
Ownership
Be the point person for analytical analysis for production and maintenance including a weekly review of OEE scores.
Lead cross functional teams of production and maintenance personnel to discuss/review opportunities for improvement.
Assist the CI team to track the impact projects have on OEE and performance.
Update capacity chart and generate insights regarding the forecast relative to production capacity.
Work with Maintenance Engineers and Maintenance Planner to identify and decrease downtime incidents.
Analyze OEE data to generate insights to improve production.
Assist Maintenance with evaluating preventive maintenance timelines and spare parts inventory.
Develop, report and visually communicate KPIs for maintenance and production and determine root causes for areas not meeting goals.
Produce yearly, monthly, weekly, daily and ad hoc reporting of maintenance and production data for leadership.
Work hand in hand with other analysts on the Operations Data Team to improve metrics in other areas of Operations.
Be a voice of continuous improvement by recommending changes to improve processes and procedures that result in improved operations, cost reductions andor customer satisfaction.
Support other analysts as required.
Present data as required.
Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree; or a minimum of three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to present information effectively to large groups.
Strong Excel knowledge is required.
Experience with Power BI and SQL is a plus as is analytical experience with maintenance andor manufacturing.
