About Our Client
My client focuses on Youth Sports and Development, helping to organize and streamline national events, practice and game scheduling, as well as individual athlete data. After experiencing immense growth over the last 5 years, they’re seeking a Software Engineering Manager to be a key player in growing their platform utilizing C#, .NET, Javascript, and React. The Software Engineering Manager will report directly oversee a team of 4 and will report into the CTO.
They’re seeking someone with a passion for leadership and the drive to mentor others on the team. Growth opportunity is tremendous and the Software Engineering Manager will have the opportunity to grow into a Director level role. This role is hybrid, with travel to the office necessary at least once per week.
Job Description
- Develop Back End solutions utilizing C# and .NET
- Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Oversee a team of 4 individuals with strong growth plans throughout 2023
- Use and adapt existing web applications
- Create and test software prototypes
- Perform complete testing of web applications-unit and end-to-end automated testing, engaging users as necessary
- Operate in a scrum/agile environment, working towards quality code and quality products.
- This position is hybrid; this person would be expected to commute to the office at least once per week
- You will contribute to development, design and test automation best practices and procedures.
- This is Full-stack development position. Including data modeling/database, middleware, Front End UI, web-services, and deployment.
- Contribute to important team culture and contribute code to efforts across a fast-growing company
- Assist in screening, interviewing, and hiring new team members
- Support, maintain and upgrade code and participate in implementation of a complex system
- Evaluate and recommend software technologies in these areas, evaluate alternatives and analyze problems with data infrastructures

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate:
- 8-15 years of coding experience
- 3+ years of Managerial Experience
- 5 years of Experience working with C# and .NET
- Experience utilizing HMLL, CSS, Javascript, and React
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Experience working within the Cloud
- Effective communication, interpersonal and team skills
- Rest API
- Computer Science or related degree
- Ability to commute to office at least once per week
- Having both mobile and web application development preferred but not required
