What We Do:
OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed through the criminal justice system.

Salary Information:
$2,000.00 New Hire Sign on Bonus, $1,000.00 paid at 120 days, $1000.00 paid at 365 days. No contract or length of terms
· $31.86 per hour with the first increase in 180 days to $33.40
· Additional 9%($2.87) per hour supplement for the extended 12-hour shift
· Additional hourly retention supplements available for education and certifications.
· Annual increases each year with an additional longevity supplement after 5 years of service
RNs may be eligible for annual Cost of Living Adjustment increased per the approved 1199 bargaining unit contract at the time of hire.
-3-12 Hour AM Shifts per week: 6-12 Hour AM Shifts per pay period for a total 72 hours per Pay Period
-Assigned hours of work are 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
-Schedules are set for Four (4) weeks at a time

The Job Opportunity and Duties:
What you will do:
· Serve in a fundamental role as an interdisciplinary treatment team member for psychiatric patients creating and executing treatment plans
· Observe, evaluate, and record patient behavior, condition, & response to medication
· As charge nurse, initiate and direct psychiatric and nursing care for patients and provide support for nursing staff while promoting a positive and safe environment for recovery
· Contributes vital input on records, plans, and reports
· Facilitate patient group activities

Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
Knowledge of professional nursing procedures; psychiatric or developmentally disabled nursing*; employee training & development*; state & federal regulations, policies & procedures as related to nursing; public relations*; counseling*. Skill in operation of medical equipment. Ability to deal with some abstract but mostly concrete variables; write meaningful, concise & accurate reports; demonstrate physical fitness.
