General Summary of Position
Under the supervision of registered nurse, performs a variety of technical duties related to preparing and assisting with invasive surgical procedures and turnover. Interprets the surgical schedule and implements individualized care plans based on the related needs of the patient. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Health’s philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
