Overview: The Meadows of Napa Valley is a high end non-profit Retirement Community located in Napa, California. We have an exciting job opening for a Human Resource Partner to join our growing team. This newly developed position similar to an HR Generalist is based out of the Meadows of Napa Valley. While based out of the Meadows of Napa Valley, you will be part of a larger HR team and remotely support our sister communities in Saratoga and Davis, California. As an HR Partner, your role will be centered around employee relations, compensation and benefits. You will report directly to an HR Director and together will be part of a team of six HR professionals (2 located at Saratoga Retirement, 2 located at University Retirement in Davis and 2 located at the Meadows of Napa Valley) . What you’ll be doing: Contact if employees or managers need help with who to contact for HR support Support HR Directors with employee relations Coordinates logistics for employee benefit information sessions, retirement learning opportunities and serves as primary contact for questions Support HR Directors with market research for compensation, six month reviews and compensation resource development Coordinate with final check requests Filing and data entry for home community Home community records management and employment verifications. If this is you, please apply Three (3) years’ HR experience is a must. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, and/or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred. It is expected that upon hire you will work toward professional certification(s) within a year. Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, senior living, or related field is preferred. Working knowledge of employment law. Advanced computer skills; especially MS Office and HRIS databases.
