Speech-language pathologists (SLP’s) are professionals who hold the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). SLP’s engage in professional practice in the areas of communication and swallowing across the life span. Communication includes speech production and fluency, language, cognition, voice, resonance, and hearing. Swallowing includes all aspects of swallowing, including related feeding behaviors.
Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
Swallowing evaluation experience preferred. Experience in evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive and swallowing deficits preferred. Pediatric/Adult Outpatient as well as Acute inpatient experience preferred.
License or certification
Current Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure through the Minnesota Department of Health or Speech-Language Pathologist CFY Temporary License through the Minnesota Department of Health. American Speech and Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification of Clinical Competency or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). BLS Certification within 3 months of hire.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $31.48 per hour.

Variable hours Monday-Friday.
This is a part time position with 20 hours per week.
MCHS – New Prague Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department provide adult outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy services to the surrounding area. Acute inpatient, as well as Transitional Care/Sub-acute therapy services provided. We provide outpatient Pediatric PT, OT, and SLP services as well. Our team currently consists of 8 PT’s, 2 OT’s and one Speech Pathologist.
