The Ragon Institute is seeking a Project Coordinator who will oversee the coordination, planning, administration, and delivery of Education- and Outreach-related programs and initiatives along with other Human Resources projects that help to support our welcoming and inclusive organizational culture. Jointly reporting to the Director of Human Resources and the Director of Education and Outreach, the successful candidate will undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks and will help in planning and coordinating programs and activities and as well will carry out important operational duties. To be an excellent project coordinator, the candidate must be organized, thorough, and comfortable working with diverse teams.
Job Duties:
• Organize/coordinate events and programs.
o Events and programs include but not limited to Ragon Institute Summer Experience (RISE), Program of Ragon and IMES in Science and Medicine (PRISM), and Ragon Equity, Allyship, Accessibility, Diversity, & Inclusion (REAADI) events
o Coordination to include participant recruitment, scheduling, procurement, and assessment.
• Work with Communications staff to maintain content on internal and external websites, develop marketing collateral, and promote events and programs on social media platforms.
• Track metrics to help find opportunities for continuous improvement and the story of successes and impact. This position has exposure to program design, content development, and program evaluation.
• Documentation of all processes and procedures.
• Development and implementation of process improvements
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, working towards a degree, and/or workplace equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience coordinating programs.
o Preference for DEI program experience
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
